Quilts Now Being Accepted for the 2008 WinterFest Quilt and Craft Show 'From the Heart' Quilt Contest

Quilters of all levels are encouraged to enter their quilts in the 2008 WinterFest Quilt and Craft Show Quilting Competition ‘From the Heart'. Quilt Contest entries must be received by October 31, 2008. The 'From the Heart' quilt contest entries will be held November 8, 2008 at the Hilton Columbia in Columbia Maryland.

The quilt contest categories include:

Large Quilts -280” perimeter or larger;

Small Quilts - 280” perimeter to 126" perimeter

Minature Quilts - 125” or less perimeter

Best of Show - grand prize - $300

First-place - $200

Second-place $125 &

Third-place $75

First, second,and third-place quilt contest prizes will be awarded in each of the categories.
